Poured a dark near-opaque brown (almost black), with a good off-white creamy head. Aromas of roasted malts and chocolate, which carry through tot the taste. Overall very smooth and quite tasty. Very pleased with this find.

Pours black, tall head. Strong roasted barley, sweet coffee aroma. Flavour of chocolate malt and thats about it. Very drinkable. Nice lager beer. I like it.

Bottle. Very dark brown with a thick foamy mocha head. Good retention and average lacing. Aroma is mostly roasted malt, with chocolate, coffee and a touch of smoke. Flavor is roasted malt, chocolate, a bit of smoke and hops. Medium body and moderately creamy mouthfeel.

Bottle. Pours an attractive, flashy black, with a thick off-white head that reduces to a ring. Nice lacing. Nose is smoky dark malt, coffee, ashes. Flavors run to coffee, dark roasted malt, smoke, cigarette ash. Nice, well-rounded dark lager.

watery schwarz. THe roasted malt was light, and this was pretty boring. disappointing really coming from these guys.

Lame, waterred down dubble flavor. But now that I know it is a swarzbier, I would give it more props, but I would be happier with Sam Adams Black Lager. Slight Malt, little hop balance. thanks Daknole

Bottle thanks to Daknole. Dark brown, semi-opaque. Great minerally aromas with deeply toasted grain. Smooth and good capture of the style with dark roasted bread crust permeating the surprisingly lovely beer.

My friend Jay you are a helluva trader, thanks for this!!! Very dark brown with a small head. Aroma is chocolate, coffee and some roasted malt. Flavor is really good. Chocolate, malt, coffee and seems like there is a slight hint of smoke. Nice stuff.
