My friend Jay you are a helluva trader, thanks for this!!! Very dark brown with a small head. Aroma is chocolate, coffee and some roasted malt. Flavor is really good. Chocolate, malt, coffee and seems like there is a slight hint of smoke. Nice stuff.

(Bottle). Roasted malt and chocolate aroma, slightly sweet. Beautiful near black color, and a substantial reddish brown head. Flavor is very roasty, with plenty of malt complexity, some coffee, chocolate, and hints of ripe fruit. Lingering bittersweet chocolate finish. Excellent.

Bottle thanks to Daknole. Dark brown, semi-opaque. Great minerally aromas with deeply toasted grain. Smooth and good capture of the style with dark roasted bread crust permeating the surprisingly lovely beer.

Bottle: Poured a clear black color lager with a nice medium brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of dry coffee with some light roasted malt. Taste is also dominated by light roasted malt with some distinctive dry coffee notes. Body is slightly thin form the style with some good carbonation. Well done and something I wouldn’t mind having on a regular basis.

Bottle - 341ml. Pours an opaque black body with average carbonation and a thin beige creamy/foamy head. Nice malty/hoppy aroma with roasty, coffeeish, and chocolate hints. Taste is well balanced and is slightly dominated by roastiness. It ends with a sharp bitter/roasty finish. Very good example of Schwarzbier.
