Bottle... Post RBSG ’08 O-Town/Vero Beach Throwdown Chapter 8... Clear copper lager with a small, fizzy, off-white head. The nose is a blend of nuts, toffee, caramel and beef stock. Medium-bodied and watery with expired carbonation. Thin, bitter flavor. Finishes bitter and dry. Thanks to TheCheeseMan for sharing the bottle!

Pour from a 750ml, dark chestnut, cloudy good head retention. Nose- soft caramels. Taste- sweet dough and spice. Quite grassy bitter on the finish which leaves a drying aftertaste. Aspirin like bitterness/chalkiness.

750ml bottle courtesy of glouglouburp. Pours brown with a red hue and a nice tan head. Smells of spice, wildflowers, soap, straw, some earthy hints. Tastes of molasses, a hint of chocolate, lots of spice, some fruity notes. Mouthfeel is full bodied. Complex and very enjoyable stickbier!

750 ml shared bottle - poured a clear copper with a slight cloudiness from the residual yeast. Candy sweet, caramel malt aroma with some metallic hop element. Flavour quite nice actually - a pleasant bitterness balanced nicely with toasted malts and a touch of fruit esters. An all-around solid beer.

@ Vero TD. Clear ruddy color, sparse off-white head. Toasty malts, almost rye-scented, light sweetness. Slight toasty taste, clean finish. Light spices in the middle, but overall very straightforward malt show.

Bright mahogany. Lots of caramel, toast and hop in the nose. Hoppy, with lots of caramel. Dry and leafy, with light toast.

At Vero. Clear mahogany brown with tan head. Chestnuts and hazelnuts. Big carbonation. Bready. Excellent brew.
