Looks great deep colour nice head good carbonation. aroma is dominated by hops from the American North west, Flavour is bitter and grassyMalt and grass that is what this beer has going on. IT reminds me of Bown Island Pale ale, wich is a cheap dollar per can Beer for hobos and students.

A generous gift from Poperinge. My bottle says Americaine. Pours a nice amber/orange with a nice off white head. The aroma is very earthy and grassy, with a hint of citrus. The flavor is reminiscent of root vegetables. Some citrus, but it needs a brightness to off set the earthiness. I would pass on this beer if offered again. But any way thanks for the beer Mike!

A bottle of Quebec beer shared before going off to cheer for Montreal in the Grey Cup. Creamy froth. Thin woody nose. Soft Brittish style. Relatively hoppy. Nice aftertaste. A nice regular rotation beer but not in the extra special extra charge category.

I got really into this beer. Aroma is glorious hop and caramel. Taste is well balanced with good hop bitterness and caramel and malt. Amber brown in colour. I really enjoyed this beer. I’ll definitely pick it up at the dep again.

New red label 750 ml bottle, in store since yesterday, so totally fresh. No, not awful at all to me. High quality rendition of this style I really like, with a beautiful copper color and an enjoyable intense leafy and slightly citrusy hopping. Sweet and fruity notes. Somehow oily mouthfeel (abundance of hop result?) and a long great aftertaste. I like this a lot but it is a little expensive but, again, why pay less in life?... Good job again, you Mousquetaires!

Bottle. Pretty awful APA, I really disliked the earthy, dry hoppy aroma and taste. It was silty and dirty in the mouth and really lacked the refreshing aspect this beer style usually brings.

Draft at Brasseurs du temps back in May.
Good pour, super fresh, ample solid off white cap, slippery ropy lacing, crystal clear deep amber beer. Good floral bouquet, lots of deep citrus aroma, orange, sweet ruby red grapefruit, cherry, good blended malt (what malts, I’m not sure), aromatic and quite potent. Interesting sourness, seems to be linked strongly with the fresh unsweetened grapefruit. Lacks flavour, overall disappointing after the impressive aroma. Weak candy, dulling hops, pine. Drying, slightly tart, good soft carbonation, long dry mild bitter finish.

Draft at Brasseurs du temps. Clear copper with thin foamy head and poor retention. Aroma is citrusy hops, caramel and roasted malt. Flavor is also mostly citrusy hops, caramel, roasted malt, and a hint of pine. A well done and very drinkable APA. Nothing special though.
