Enniskillen (1507), Port Angeles, Washington, USA Apr 7, 2008 Bottle from Puzzl. Nice amber hue with wonderful color, almost looks like whiskey. The liquid coats the glass. Aroma is some alcohol, very sweet apple, a little bit of a spice to it. Taste is tart and very rich with apples, then light hints of clove and nutmeg come across. Really quite amazing, wonderful stuff here. puzzl (1627), New York, New York, USA Nov 1, 2007 200ml bottle from the cidery, 200ml, shared with feedmec00kies, mkobes, eyedrinkale. Also had a couple samples on location. This stuff is fantastic. Richest apple, licorice, cinnamon nose. Unbelievably juicy, rich, tart, thick apple taste. Powerful clove, rum and whiskey. Deep complexity. Every sip gets better and better and reveals new strengths and flavors. Glad I have another bottle. Next time I’m in Montreal I’ll certainly be stopping by to buy more!
