Commercial Description:
Big Belt Weizenbock is brewed in an effort to counter the fierce winter weather by giving all takers the reward of an exquisitely crafted winter brew. This beer is capable of casting a warm glow on any frigid night. Big Belt is a heavier beer brewed with a large percentage of wheat providing a long lasting finish.

Pours dark amber with off-brown head. Nose of carmalized sugar and light wheat. Flavor is all brown sugar with hints of wheat, some spice. Medium body with nice mouthfeel, watch out, the higher alcohol will catch up to you.

If you are lucky enough to catch this beer then you will be in for a treat. I was through Montana and enjoyed the last keg of this on tap at the Tap Room. Great malty character with mild sweetness and some hues of chocolate, the most impressive thing was how smooth it was, one of the best high-octane beers I have ever had. Does not have that alcoholic flavor I have experienced in many other hi-gravity beers but certainly packs a wallop...be careful this one will change your plans if your not careful.....what a great beer....please try and get them to make it all year and bottle this monster so I can enjoy it in WY!
