Dark gold pour with white head. Pine and citrus nose. Flavor was more on the orange zest side with all the bitterness that goes with zest. Decent malt flavor to help smooth it out with bitter finish.

Golden hue; nice and frothy head; sticky, residual lace. Texture was on the light side, yet crisp and snappy with a lively carbonation. Malts had flavors of cookie dough, crusty bread and crackers; caramel was in the background. Big hop presence, with flowers, citrus (grapefruit and tangerine), grass and pine. Bitter (grass and pine) finish. Metallic-like sharpness.

On Tap @ The Brewhouse, Helena: Light citrusy hop aroma; clean, caramel malt flavor and a balaced, tangy finish; pretty substantial body for the style.

Pours a hazy reddish gold color. Aromas of floral hops and a touch of malts. Flavor has a nice bitter hop zing to it. Very good Montana beer.

On tap at the brewery. Great to talk with a waitress who understands beers and ingredients. Orange beer. Nice aroma and very good hop flavour. Definately an IPA and one that you can drink all afternoon.

I liked this beer. It had a great nose and a great flavor. I was stopped with my wife and we just enjoyed this little beer. They had a great hops aroma with the beer and the head was also very nice.

The beer after its release from the 12-ounce brown bottle sets in the glass a slightly hazy gold with a nice crown of white, the left over lace leaves a fine sheet to conceal the glass. Nose is nicely hop floral, sweet malt and the start somewhat sweet with a fair grain presence, top is light to medium in feel. Finish is prickly in acidity, pun intended, the hops pleasingly spicy quite dry aftertaste, and a drinkable beer.
