Aroma is 60% hops and 40% sugar. Very sweet almost overpowers the hop bitterness which comes through at the end and lasting finish. MrManning (1655), London, Ontario, Canada

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 4, 2005 Bottle. Pours bubbly gold with a tall foamy white head and some decent lined lacing with a film staying on top throughout. Malt (straw, hay) and grassy yeast (sweat) aroma with grape, pear and oak notes. Sweet yeast and sour hop flavor with a malt buttery fruit body. Fizzy and light bodied and somewhat creamy. frankenkitty (1903), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 21, 2005 Golden (almost amber) with an initially large white head that faded. Aromas were quite pleasant, lightly peppery with sweet, bready malts and fruit... almost like un-toasted raisin bread. Malts to start, hearty rather than sweet, finishing crisply bitter. A little thin on the palate with a dry finish. When you’re drinking a Polish pils, you really can’t hope for much better than this... I just wish I could pronounce it.
