Tastes of apples, a touch of hops (very gentile hops), citrus, spice, alcohol shows through a bit, grass. Better than any macro brewed Canadian lager that I’ve tasted. As my co-worker put it, "It tastes happy". good lager... but still a lager. sirPino (860), Zawiercie / Żywiec, Poland

Can, 500 ml, 12 P
Appearance: Pours beautifull golden, shiny and perfectly clear body with moderate saturation of the body and foamy head, initially medium in size and quite quickly decreasing to only a small froth floating on the body surface.
Aroma: Very, very weak, aroma of water, gentle notes of thin watered down maltyness, almost non existant hops, practically no hops here. Blame Grupa Zywiec for such a simplification and implosing the macro style on this legendary mark.
Flavour: Typicall flavour of Polish macro Premium lager, but no hops at all, only thin, watered down maltyness. Gentle milky aftertaste, which is quite pleasant, all in all it has a sweet profile and from a thin wattery front it developes into a really nice raw, milky sweet barley malt that is really noble and not commonly found in Polish Premium Lagers. Apart from it drastically lacking in hoppyness, all in all apart from nice raw barley malt it tastes like a macro sud.
Palate: Body is light, texture is wattery, carbonation on palate is moderate, finish feel is flat and boring, neutrall. yespr (12175), Copenhagen O, Denmark

I tried this beer on August 12, 2008 after purchasing from one of the local LCBO outlets. The beer poured a translucent dark gold colour with very little head. The aroma was metallic, malty, with some hoppy presence. The mouthfeel was light to medium bodied, and highly carbonated. The flavour is grainy malt, with some bitter hints. blipp (1679), Newark, New Jersey, USA
