A pretty drinkable premium lager. Aroma of corn, malts, and old hops. Taste is grainy and slightly bitter. Overall, this beer is very stisfying for a premium lager and I will have this beer again

I tried this beer on August 12, 2008 after purchasing from one of the local LCBO outlets. The beer poured a translucent dark gold colour with very little head. The aroma was metallic, malty, with some hoppy presence. The mouthfeel was light to medium bodied, and highly carbonated. The flavour is grainy malt, with some bitter hints.

Bottle. Pours clear gold with a white head. Light malty aroma with hay and a bit of dishwater. Flavor is pretty nondescript with a bit of straw and maybe some herbal notes.

500 ml bottle from the LCBO. pours yellow with a white head and steady carbonation. pale lager aromas without detectable hops. no apparent adjuncts in the aroma of flavour. easy to drink but a touch watery. middle of the road lager IMO.

A Polish brand Lager, yellow in colour, foamy white head. Pretty refreshing on a hot summer day, Finishes fairly clean, with a lingering taste of hops and yeast.

[1238-20080330] 500mL bottle. Mild yeasty cornfield aroma diluted with sweet watery haystacks dipped in barnyard muck. Clear, light orange yellow body with a quick creamy white head. Burnt hay stalks flavour has a mild hoppy background. Medium body is grainy. Better chilled.

A surprisingly light and easy drinking lager. Moderately carbonated with a nice crisp mouthfeel that provides a smooth finish. One of my favorites from Poland so far.

Brewer and Brand: Lezajsk 1525 Jasne Pelne ABV: 5.5% Calories: estimated 200 Stored in: 16.9 fl oz Served in: tulip Purchased at: Sherwood Liquors, Ewing, NJ Price: $2.50 Price per fl oz $2.50/ 16.9 fl oz = $.14 per fl oz. Consumed at: home Aroma and Flavor: 6 Malts - Grain Hay Straw and light with Caramel and vanilla overtones. Not complex, but above average compared to american pils. Hops - Flowery, Grassy. Tarry Pine, Resinous. Yeast - Moldy, a bit dusty. Miscellaneous - Plum Charcoal Honey and Brown sugar Vegetable (corn) not very sticky. Appearance : 3 Head - Pours to a rocky creamy white head. Lacy with a wispy short lived head. Body - Clarity sparkling and very clear yellow. slight gold tinge. Flavor : 7 Initial flavor is nice, sweet, with a bit of hops at the end, but not bitter. Won’t stand up to anything, food wise, but a very nice beer. Finish - sweet middling finish - not bad at all. Palate : 3 Body - Light. Texture - Watery Syrupy Carbonation - Soft but visible Finish - light to moderate Alcohol - very little Overall Score: 16 Comments: A surprisingly good beer - not my favorite type, but very enjoyable. Not deep or complex, but warming, and tasty. I liked: The after taste, the slight hoppiness, and the sweetness. The aroma is nice, if tame. I did not like: the slight watery theme, the lackluster color, and the lack of head.
