(Draft: Liberator Brewing in Troutdale, OR) Mildly aromatic nose show a bit of sweet malts, but not much else going on here. Mildly toasty and a bit earthy, the lightly sweet malts have a bit more presence, but mostly because the gently bitter hops is pretty light. It’s not out of balance though. Light-to-medium body, fairly clean and crisp on the palate. Dark amber color with an off-white head that fades to a thin rim, but leaves plenty of patchy lacing on the glass. Pretty standard amber, but refrains from being too sweet like many of its counterparts. Decent, but too generic a beer, and not something I’d order again.
