Regular yellow appearance. Sweet candy and fruit and cereals initially, then grainy and musty... raunchy sour grains.... pale malts everywhere with considerable bitterness in the finish.

Orange gold color. Small head. Aroma is malty and sweet. A medium bodied pale ale. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are fairly bitter, grapefruity and sweet. Nicely balanced. Perhaps a little hoppy for a pale ale, but it kind of works. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

RBSG 2004: Cloudy amber with small white head. Mild pine aroma with some light grains. Starts and ends lightly bitter. Full bodied for the style.

(RBSG04) Lightly hazed amber with off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, grapefruit, some pine. Taste is medium sweet, fairly bitter grapefruit, some fruity. Light-medium body. More bitter than the typical APA.

Tap. A little extra hops compared with the average brewpub pale. Somewhat off-balance, and this makes it too sour for its class. Not such a pleasant finish either.

Light amber color with some light head & some lacing. The aroma is lightly hoppy, herbal & fresh. The flavor is lightly hoppy and blends into a semi-sweet caramel malt essense. dry finish.

A big sticky head on a copper brew that falls flat and boring after their IPAs. Thin and watery with little character.

Great spicy hops up front, with a touch of sour. Starts light and sweet, with a nice round bitter finish. What some brewers wish their IPA could be. Good.
