| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 30, 2007 On tap at Liberty... Pours a straw-orange into the glass, with nice retention and soapy lace. Orange and hops come through in the nose, and immediately transfer into the flavor. Orange peel and citrus upfront, this offers some complexities, despite the weaker hopping in the finish... there does show some further signs of orange peel and zest as the brew opens up. The mouthfeel is medium, and it does cleanse the palate well enough. The aftereffects show some nice candied fruit notes. Interesting brew, not terrible. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

hazy amber, fine off white head, dry caramel malt aroma with light floral hops, light hop flavor on a tasty sweet caramel malt base, touch of citrus, nice light bitter finish, very tame for an IPA even in a 6% state

most of the time it is a delicious offering. Lots of hops bitterness, which is why i like it.
appearance is excellant and flavor has a nice maltiness not found in other IPA’s.
not for the meek. if you do not want a bitter beer go with the Nut brown and leave the IPA to the true believers! Ron (1039), Rochester, New York, USA

| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Oct 9, 2006 Tap. Pours a rich amber color with an offwhite head. Smells hoppy but tastes like melting plastic. I know a lot of people really like this brew which leads me to believe I had a bad one. Myself and the guy across from me both agreed that it tasted like melting plastic, weird eh? I think I should try another to see if it was just skunky. 00cobraR (1102), Greensboro, North Carolina, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 30, 2006 Pours a nice deep golden yellow color with decent white head. Aroma is grassy and missing the hops. Guess what so was the flavor. It was a refreshing ale none the less. But i drink IPAs for the hops. GeneralGao (3073), Iowa City, Iowa, USA
