Commercial Description:
This copper-colored ale has an intense bitterness and a floral hop aroma. It is higher in alcohol than our other beers. Hops added during aging contribute to its distinct dryness.

NC on tap-pours a white head and hazy gold/orange color. Aroma is resin/citrus hops, some medium malt. Taste is sweet medium malt-caramel, resin/citrus hops-somewhat pungeant. Nicely balanced.

Tap at the High Point brewpub on 2/3/08: Pours a transparent dark golden bronze with a well-lacing white head. Aroma of lightly sweet toasty pale malts and a touch of piny hops. Body starts fairly full with a nice malty sweetness balanced with fresh resiny bittering hops before a crisp bittersweet finish. A decent IPA and quite drinkable.

A rock solid IPA, with hops and citrus in the aroma, and a hoppy, citrusy, floral, spicy taste and finish. Well done.

Draught at the brewpub (High Point, NC location). Clear golden color with white head that laced the glass. Perfumy hop nose and flavor. Little or no hop bitterness.

Appearance: Lightly hazy, copper body with a small, white head. Smell: Light pale malts and a dash of grapefruit juice. Taste: Pale maltiness with a subtle sweetness. Light citrus rind character. Medium hop bitterness that lingers into the finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: A simple, straight-forward brewpub India Pale Ale.

Slightly hazed orange pour. Evergreen and citrus hops combined on the nose. Semi-sweet malt a very hard bitter finish. Creamy mouthfeel and medium/full bodied. Very nice beer.

Draft @ the pub, Pint. Poured a medium sized offwhite head, retention was fair, lacing was minimal, spotty and somewhat stringy. Clear amber, copper hued ale. Nose was soft, lightly hopped, citrus being most notable, light malt backing. Body is med/light, soft carbonation, lightly oily. Light hop flavors, citrus, light earthiness with some faint caramel malts sliding in behind them. Not much to speak of. Light fruitiness. Dry finish, a touch fruity and spicey. meh. Good stuff for the tourists i,d say.
