Commercial Description:
This copper-colored ale has an intense bitterness and a floral hop aroma. It is higher in alcohol than our other beers. Hops added during aging contribute to its distinct dryness.

A rock solid IPA, with hops and citrus in the aroma, and a hoppy, citrusy, floral, spicy taste and finish. Well done.

Slightly hazed orange pour. Evergreen and citrus hops combined on the nose. Semi-sweet malt a very hard bitter finish. Creamy mouthfeel and medium/full bodied. Very nice beer.

NC on tap-pours a white head and hazy gold/orange color. Aroma is resin/citrus hops, some medium malt. Taste is sweet medium malt-caramel, resin/citrus hops-somewhat pungeant. Nicely balanced.

This is our second visit to Liberty Steakhouse in Myrtle Beach. This time I enjoyed the IPA in draft. The taste was hoppy and had a good balance of bitterness. There was some citrus flavors. The head laced down the glass.

Draft @ the brew pub: Hazy light copper w/ a short lived white head; laces well. I blame the glass. Herbal hop aroma w/a lightly toasted malt and caramel; moderate fruitiness, and lightly grassy as it warms. Well balanced & lightly bitter, bready malt w/ hints of toasted malt; hop flavor in the finish. Fruitiness light compared to aroma. Lingering bitterness w/ a malt & hop flavored aftertaste. Low carbonation, medium body w/ a dry m/f. This is probably the most "to style" beer @ Liberty so far. Nice balance of hops & malt, but not quite as bitter as an IPA should be.

Very very good, creamy, nice head, separated into thirds, gorgeous. Hoppy and tasty, good beer to nurse.

Tap at the High Point brewpub on 2/3/08: Pours a transparent dark golden bronze with a well-lacing white head. Aroma of lightly sweet toasty pale malts and a touch of piny hops. Body starts fairly full with a nice malty sweetness balanced with fresh resiny bittering hops before a crisp bittersweet finish. A decent IPA and quite drinkable.

Tap at Liberty Steakhouse. Pours out a slightly cloudy light copper color with a two finger off white head. Aroma is of citrus and light floral hops, slight malts in there also. Taste is a bit on the watery side, but is well put together, citrus hops, sweet malts, and a slight bready biscuit note with a dry hop finish. Probably the best of the 4 I had while I was there.
