On tap at the steakhouse. Pours out a moderate hue of brown with a two finger tan head. Aroma is of sweet malts, caramel and a little earthy nut notes. Light on the palate and served way too cold, other people were probably looking at me strange as I sat at the bar wrapping my hands around the glass to warm the beer. Notes of caramel, slight roast, little bit of earthy nutty notes.

Way too light in body. This beer is made for rookie beer drinkers and tourists. It almost tasted watered down.

Deep amber pour with creamy tan head and lace. Light caramel malt on the nose. Sweet toasted malt flavor with a tad of nuts. Dry enough to suck the spit out of your mouth. Medium bodied but a tad foamy for my liking.

Amber-brown colour. Spiderweb lacing. Nutty, slightly chocolatey aroma. Toasty, nicely balanced brown hits the usual marks.

NC on tap-pours an off white head that laces and mahogany color. Aroma is sweet medium malt-roasty. Taste is sweet medium malt-roasty, some earthy hops, fruity. Finishes semi-dry.

Sampler @ Liberty: I’d say this is the most drinkable of the sampler pack next to the porter. Pours a deep amber color and at first, I could not tell the difference between the Pale Ale and the Nut Brown and neither could anyone else. A couple sips in, I started to get some nice lightly toasted malts coming through in the flavor. Not a standout but this did pair well with the pretzels they serve there.
