Columbia, South Carolina - draft. Medium copper pour, soft white head, decent lacing. Hint of choclate in the aroma. Good overall nutty flavor with some chocolate and cofffee. Clean, even mouthfeel. Decent brewpub brown.

Poured dark brown with about no head on it. Toasted malt and carmel aroma. Roasted malt with some sweetness and nut flavor. It was good.

Brown, thin white head. Nose had notes of toast, light chocolate, and nut. Ditto on the flavor with a light hop bitterness late. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying, choc-o-nut finish. This or the pale ale are the only things I could half-way recommend here at Liberty...

This was tasted during dinner on 7/6. The nut brown was disappointing compared to some of the other products. It was just plain dull. Nothing jumped out at you. It was a dark chocolate and had malt flavors but was jsut not special.

A great dark ale, chocolate malt taste, very smooth and full bodied, would get this again for sure

On tap at Tbonz in N. Myrtle Beach. Clear deep brown, head is nil. Toasty malt and a light nutiness in the nose. Roasty malt flavor, more light nuts. Very lively mouthfeel. Just a hint of bitter in the finish. Very clean, but a tad weak for a brown. Still, very drinkable.

Draught at the brewpub. Slightly hazy brown color with off white head. No lacing. Subtle earthy nose with a hint of caramel. Tangy without much flavor other than subtle nutty caramel notes. Extremely thin for a brown.
