Amber-brown colour. Spiderweb lacing. Nutty, slightly chocolatey aroma. Toasty, nicely balanced brown hits the usual marks.

I love nut browns, and this one poured copper with aroma of caramel malt, almonds, brown sugar, and some corn flakes. Tasted caramel malty, with a corn flakey, walnutty, brown sugar finish. Decent complexity.

Draught at the brewpub. Slightly hazy brown color with off white head. No lacing. Subtle earthy nose with a hint of caramel. Tangy without much flavor other than subtle nutty caramel notes. Extremely thin for a brown.

Draft (Columbia). NIce mocha/cola malt aroma. Dark brown with a moderate tan head. Creamy coffee malt flavor with nice body - closer to a porter than the typical brown ale. Very nice and drinkable.
