Thin and watery without much aroma or flavor. Very uninspiring, shrubber85 (3014), Wallhalben, Germany
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 17, 2007 Tap (Columbia). Cherry vanilla and malt aroma. Red-amber color with small head. Lightly sweet cherry vanilla and barley malt flavor with a moderate hops finish. Unusual in that diacetyls are at a minimum - nice fruity irish ale. ChainGangGuy (2619), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jun 15, 2007 Appearance: Cloudy, dark amber body with a thin, creamy off-white head.
Smell: Sorry, but the aroma on this one was nonexistent.
Taste: An Irish Ale that’s as simple as they come, with a hint of caramel sweetness and a gentle hop bitterness. Truly a discouraging beer experience.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Somewhat watery.
Drinkability: "Full-bodied and malty..." is a rather dubious claim. I see what they’re going for here; a light, refreshing beer that’s more of a ’caricature’ of the style. tupalev (2618), Waterloo, Ontario, Canada
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 7, 2007 Growler. Nice fiery orange, small bubbles standing in for a head. Orange citrus and malt aroma - mild. Nice fresh malt taste - surprisingly fresh tasting given that the growler was three weeks old. Standard red/amber/irish ale, but very refreshing and drinkable. decaturstevo (2010), decatur, Tennessee, USA
