Draft at WBF Raleigh on 5/2/09. Rusty brown with a small tan head. Aroma is hoppy, slightly nutty with caramel and earthy notes. Taste equally hoppy and nutty but rather tasty as I don’t really care for browns. More caramel, light grass and cocoa. Body is medium with moderate carbonation on the tongue. Ends with more caramel, nuts, big hops and earth notes. Not bad at all. Liberty impressed with their two offerings!

WBF sample. Pours a brown with some ruby highlights and a one finger tan head. The nose is nutty, sweet, citrusy, malt dominate with a nice hop character. The flavor is hoppy and nutty, some graininess goes with the hop character, mildly bitter, earthy. Palate is mildly bitter with some sweetness.
