Feb 28, 2009 Hazed cranberry color. Aroma of dried fruit and abv. Starts out sweet but fades to sour that almost makes you shiver and abv. Thick full bodied with aggressive carbonation.

Feb 3, 2009 on tap-pours a light tan head and copper color. Aroma is sweet medium malt, fruity, alcohol. Taste is quite sweet medium malt-caramel, peat, some earthy hops. Then a tart/sour left turn detracts and made me shiver.

Jan 3, 2009 On Tap at Liberty brewpub in High Point NC 01/03/2008. True to style, this Wee Heavy style Scotch ale gets everything right. Full malty aroma and body, it pours a deep reddish brown and is capped with a rocky tan head. Flavor is amply peaty with a light hop presence. Mouthfeel is soft and round and thick, but not syrupy.
