Shared this with oldrtybastrd. This is almost my least favorite beer as it is a sour beer. This is sour but has a good fruit, maybe cherry flavor which helps the bitterness. I gave this a high rating for a sour beer. A definitely try but not a staple diet.

Bottle, c&c, from Sun Devil in Mesa, AZ. Reddish/garnet color with a slight, lightly pinkish head. Aroma of tart cherry. Medium body with sharp carbonation. Flavor is very tart cherry. Not exactly sour, but certainly tending that way. Makes me wish I were in Belgium.

Served on draft at Tyler’s Taproom in Durham, NC. Deep red pour with a moderate head. Aroma and taste are both strong cherry with some tart notes, but also a lot of sugar. Candy-sweet, too sweet for a good kriek, though it would serve well as an entry level sour beer.

Red, dark amber colored brew. Sweet aroma, cherries, berries, nice. Flavor is sweet, cherries, berries again. Some nice subtile sourness in the aftertaste. Nice balanced taste. Together with the aroma it’s a nice balanced brew with different flavors all around.
