Sep 20, 2008 I dunno whether to describe this...everyone knows what it looks like it’s almost an icon so i’m not going to bother, the main thing for me is the lovely nutty almond flavour to it that reminds me of sucking cherry stones.

aroma is acid, with some great berries too, overall nice.

flavor is fruity, a little sweetish, nice,
palate is too bubbly as i see it,
overall a good one, i’m getting used to sour beer as i try more and more.

Sep 13, 2008 Bottle @ EPBF. Nose is kind of sweet with notes of cherrys and a bit malty aswell. Taste is sweet and murky with some sour notes aswell,nice balance.

Sep 1, 2008 On tap at the Muddy Pig in St. Paul. Murky reddish brown. Aroma - Sweet and Malty. Sour cherry taste, but not overly tart. Very nice blend of sweet and sour.

Aug 28, 2008 2006 bottle best by 1/2017. deep purple color with a peach head. sour/tart cherries on the nose along with some nice funk. smooth on the palate with a great cherry flavor that finishes nice and sour.

Aug 17, 2008 Draft, from one of the kegs before the Moortgat version is out. Red-maroon color with pink-tinted head. Sweet candy-cherry nose. Tastes even sweeter, like candy maraschino. Slight lemony tang. Too cloying. I’m wondering if this might actually improve under Duvel.
