Cloudy dark brown with plum tinit. 3/4 inch pink head that turns into a 3/16 inch tan head after 2 minutes. Aroma of dark cheeries and saturated mineral water, and old leather and church, holy water and church books and pews. Taste has all the same qualities of the aroma. Spritzy texture. Bright finish.

Glass on tap in UK. Pours a nice deep red, delicous smell of sweet cherries. Taste is more sour but not too much. Cherry flavour is very clear. Nice kriek, better than the bottled versions.

Bottle, 6%. Sweet, pruney aroma, a little acidic. Hazy dark red, pruney colour. Very small head. The flavour is quite sweet, some fat cherry. Also quite acidic, but not really enough to balance the berries. Rather pleasant, but has some tendency towards soft drink flavour.

Deep cherry red colour with a decent head. Good amount of sour cherry and acidity is finely balanced by the maltiness. A shame this brewery may not be around anymore.

750ml bottle from Beers of the World. Finally more ratings than Tim! Body is deep ruby & mahogany, head is pinkish and foamy. Nose is cherries, caramel, malt, wood, acetic acid. Some muted lemon pith as well. Flavor is rich malt & cherry, wood, acid & balancing sourness. Finish is tart cherry soda & woody dryness.

Bottle. Nose is sour cherries, light sweetness. Pours a dark red color with a big steady white head. Flavor is a refreshing balance of tart and sweet cherry. Clean, easy drinking. Delicious.
