| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Dec 28, 2007 Extreme head with a slight pink tinge. Strong tart scent. Slightly thick and syropy mouth. Bitter sweet, no make that tart and sweet. Candy like but less sweet. Not bad but I am not a huge fruit beer fan. I should taste hops and malt not berries in my beer. thewolf (5808), Kolding, Denmark

Pours a deep red-brown with a small fizzy head that soon disappears. Aroma is quite subdued. Naturally slight tart cherries appear, some oak, some barnyard, some dirt and a dose of sweet caramel. Lightly oily mouthfeel despite a relatively high carbonation. Flavour is light tart cherries, some sweetness, light oak, light liqourice and a finish with heavy sweet caramel (which surprised me). It is tart, yes, and dries out my mouth to perfection, but it ain’t no geuze, so this might appeal to fruit beer lovers as well as lambic lovers. Wonderful. SpringsLicker (2043), Tennessee, USA

Muddy reddish brown body with a small pink head.
Sour cherry aroma.
Tart, sourness is well balanced, not too tart or sweet.

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 25, 2007 375ml bottle - pours deep, cloudy ruby/brown with a slightly pink head on top. Aroma is very sour and fruity, obviously with cherries. I love it. Flavour is equally impressive...I really like this beer. A lot. Lots of sour cherries, some yeastiness, and the fruitiness of the beer is in no way overwhelming or obtrusive. Very full, effervescent and creamy mouthfeel. Beautiful. As far as "fruit beers" go, this one is the best I’ve had. downender (2629), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England
