Bottle 25 cl. Pours a clear red with a very small off-white head and and an intense smell of cherries. The initial taste is very sweet, almost like cherry-flavoured children’s candy, but in a very pleasant way. After that comes the more sour and bitter taste, that is pretty complex for this style of beer. Nice long finish, a very good fruitbeer

375 ml. bottle. Clear crimson with a spare, foamy, pink tinged head. Cherry aroma is unmistakeable, but there is also some other citrus based fruitiness. Light body, effervescnet, and vary clean, slightly acidic palate. Not nearly as sweet as I had expected, a pleasant surprise. A light sourness dominaates, but it certainly isn’t offensively sour or unpleasant. I’m not a big fan fan of fruit flavored beers, but this is actually quite nice. Would be great with a chocolate dessert.

I’m usually not a Kriek-drinker, but I really enjoyed this one. Sweet, very fruity notes in the aroma. I got cherry (obviously) and a bit of black currant as well. Pours a deep ruby red and slight head. Fairly clear. Not too tart in the taste and had that "funk" that is actually pleasing in this style. Low carbonation. This actually might be more flavorful at warmer temperatures.

Delicious, lovely and tempting. Mouth watering appearance. Very slight fruity aroma. Cannot detect alky once tasted. Big chunks of stuff in my glass from the bottom of the bottle. Very pleasing and satiisfying. A fine example of a fruit flavored sour brew. No bitter attributes in the finish and I’m sorry it’s gone.

375ml corked bottle, 6% a/v Pours a dark and mildly hazy red colour, with a thin pink head. The nose is almost red wine, tart cherries, and bitter acidity. The taste is actually very sweet, cherry flavour with a really nice bitter cherry finish. Best Kriek ive had.

Cap above cork says Nov2015. Cork itself says 2005. Deep mahogany body, edges are lighter red mixed with brown. One finger thick off white-almost tan head. No lasting power, leaves only an edge of foam to ring the beer. Makes an attempt at lacing but mostly fails. Gets a 4 just for that color alone. Nose of very tart sour cherries, vinegar, funky yeast, barnyard and tons of acidity. Fore is sweeter than the aroma would lead you to believe. Rolling around the mouth brings the acidic notes back, with tons of tart cherries as well. Doesn’t taste as tart as it smells though, even with that kick of sourness. It is very well balanced, but could be a bit more sour, for my tastes at least. Low carbonation, pleasing mouthfeel. Medium bodied. Finish is lengthy, tart acidic cherries, funky yeast and vinegar round things out. Cherry sweetness lingers for quite a long time. Great beer.

Aroma is potent, with a lot of red wine and cherries radiating from this scarlet-red brew. Taste is not sweet at all, combining a taste of tart, sour, and earthy cherries. Finish is smooth and bubbly with more red wine lingering in your mouth. 6% ABV is good for a fruit beer, allowing it to be flavorful but not too sweet.

25 cL bottle. Pours dark brown and with a reddish hue, completely diminished off-white head. Sulphorish dry aroma of cherries and with a solid caramel note too. Flavour starts acidic and leads into a sweet caramel malt heavy flavour. Ends sweet and acidic at once. Nice.
