| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 23, 2007 Bottle. Pour is a deep red color with a fizzy, pink head that dies down in short order. Aromas are tart, of cherries and damp wood. Flavor is very heavy on the cherries, much sweeter than I expected. It almost comes off as artificial, but then the sour picks up a little and things return to an acceptable level. Still, I was execting a much more sour flavor. Comes off as light and almost soda-like. Refreshing, but not what I was hoping. PilsnerPeter (2642), Flushing, New York, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 17, 2007 Bottle 2005: Ruby pour with an initially large, bubbly light tan/pinkish head that becomes a thin ring. Rich fruity aroma of cherry skins, light lactic notes and subtle wood suggestions. The flavor has a nice refreshing tartness overall, with a cleansing character to it. Fresh cherries are evident (obviously), with a very subtle almond-y sweetness (which I pick up on in many quality cherry ales). There’s also a cinnamon spice hint in the background followed by a crisp, tart fruity finish. Complex and crisp, dangerously drinkable. Snoro (229), Montréal, Quebec, Canada

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 7, 2007 Bottle. Pours deep red, head disappears quickly. Aroma is cherry / vinegary. The taste is a nice cherry both sweet and tangy. Thought this wouldn’t be very nice, but was very wrong. FatPhil (3483), Espoo, Finland

Hugely cherry aroma. Fairly lively palate, not harsh. Gloriously tasty - so easy to drink. Hugely cherry taste. Pure natural fruit - beautiful fruit beer. Crisp and cleansing on the palate.
