Fruity nose with generous notes of cherries and hints of almonds. Fruity taste with loads of cherries and notes of almonds. Rather sweet, body slightly above medium. Very nice cherry character mingling well with the sourish malt foundation. Excellent balance. RblWthACoz (963), Brooklyn, New York, USA

No head off a good pour by the ’tender. Nose is soft and full of cherries. Flavor is extremely smooth and sweet cherries with a great level of sugar on there. Excellent touch of wood. Feels beautiful on the mouth. Smooth and silky with a great carbonation. An excellent beer absolutely worth trying.

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 1, 2007 Pours a deep ruby red with a small pink tinted head. I can smell it as I am typing the appearance and it smells like ripe tart fresh picked cherries with a hint of brown sugar. Very tart acidity with a good dose of cherries and a powerful punch of acidity. Very nice and tart and delicious. Petrucci914 (590), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 31, 2007 Pours a reddish brown, almost a watered down pink color. Smells sour and of tart cherries. Taste is slightly sour and carbonated at first but finishes with the right amount of cherry tartness. I find this very easy to drink and not as sour as some of the other fruit beers. Not quite sure why this is labeled as a flemish sour? Doesn’t taste like others in the variety. BeerBiker (1392), Kathmandu, Nepal
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 26, 2007 Very great fruitbeer, which can be used for aperitif, maybe some will find it too sour and the framboise could be the better choice. Has the right sourness, but also some perfume/grape flavor, which can be a challenge. Great beer Tejas (702), Dallas, Texas, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Aug 21, 2007 Good appearance and great lacing on the glass. Tingly palate. Generally not my favorite style but this is really good. Very drinkable. Goes down quickly in big sips. Little funky yeast flavor in there on the aftertaste but overall just really sour and cherry flavor. Does get a tad too sour for me though as it warms up. Maybe that’s why Im taking big sips, to finish it? jujubeast6000 (795), Houston, Texas, USA
