Draught at the In de Wildeman. Red-brown color. Sweet and sour aroma with pronounced parfumy cherry and strawberry nose. Strong sweet and sour cherry flavor. Very sweet but still tasty.

Bottle, 375ml corked. Clear, copper-golden body, with a beige head. Quite weak nose with cherries, a bit sweetish. The flavor is sweetish as well, with cherries and some cellar. Medium, sweetish mouthfeel. Long, sweet finish with some citrus notes. I find it too sweet, but it is certainly drinkable. (070526)

375ml bottle @Hamilton’s. Pours red wtih a think pink head. Aroma is big and full of cherries. The taste is very rich and sweet with a bit of sourness, lots of cherry. Honestly I drank this and thought it was a fruit lambic not a sour, though liefman’s does like to make fruity flavored sours. Overall great beer very very nice.

Dark red pour, no head. Aroma of sour freakin cherries. Taste is just great, a huge tartness blast you then after that it’s all easy sippin. Sour cherries, with a bready malt backbone, and ya more sour cherries, some vinegar in the background with a great tartness that lingers in your mouth.

25 oz bottle, Well’s Discount liquors. Pours a clear bright ruby red body under a fizzy tight bubbled off-white head with a slight pinkish tinge. Moderate visible carbonation. The aroma is full of sour, slightly tart cherry with a slight hint of vinegar. A little chocolate accent. The flavor is tart and sweet with a nice sour cherry fore. Finishes with a slight vinegar and sugary sweetness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a slight sweet cloying stickiness on the finish. Nice pleasant soft carbonation. This was really enjoyable for about the first two-thirds of the bottle, but it did get a bit overly sweet and cloying by the end. A really good beer that I’ll buy in the 375ml size from now on.
