Aroma of berry, cherry, brown sugar, melon and apricot. Medium bodied with an average carbonation. Moderated sweet flavour with light acidic. The fruit was excellent and it finishes with a fruit bowl of lingering unripe fruit. Excellent. Skinnyviking (4157), Copenhagen, Denmark

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 16, 2007 12.7 oz bottle - I guess I need to find a good explanation of the difference between a fruit lambic and a Flemish sour ale as I thought this one was the former. Anyway, it pours a beautiful deep ruby color with a thin, fizzy head. The aroma is sour cherries with a hint of funk. The sweet cherry flavor has mild tartness and very little funk with the tartness getting more noticeable in the finish. Nice beer. vyvvy (2044), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 15, 2007 Pours dark garnet with a reddish tan head. The aroma has musty tart cherries - lush and rich with light earth and oak smoothing things out. Medium body with plentiful soft carbonation. The flavor has much of what is on the aroma with lots of lushness at first and then it gets sharper. The finish is tart, sour and funky with a tannin-like presence and hints of medicinal traits. A decent beer, but there are better fruit beers and flemish sours. ¾ (4999), Colorado, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 6, 2007 750mL bottle. Dark purple colored body, slightly murky. Nose of light creamed cherries and red grapes, lightly lactic, light pungency in the nose, nothing too intense but also not sugary sweet. Flavor is similar, light creamy black cherries, mild sourness, more from the yeast than the actual fruit. Both the lambic qualities and the cherry qualities are pretty subdued, but overall it’s refreshing, lightly sour and enjoyable. Not top-tier lambic, though. troyc (1175), Lubbock, Texas, USA
