Draught at Temperance Bar in Putney (London), pours an enticing clear bright ruby colour. Aroma is mostly sour cherry, but there is also a sweetness similar to cake icing. Flvour is similar to the aroma, with the cherries dominating, but also a little sweetness to offset.

Bottle from Belgian Shop; Nose is of kriek and a little tart barnyard; plum colored with a small pink head; flavor of tart cherries with a little sweetness mixed in. Not as sour as Supplication but decent!

Bottle. Poured hazy reddish brown color with an Minimal frothy off-white head that diminished quickly with minimal lacing. Moderate cherry citrus aroma. Medium body. Medium tart cherry flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Refreshing brew.

My favourite fruit beer. Lots of flavours in there but never too overpowering. Base beer is just as evident as the cherry giving it a grown up feel.

Drank in a trappist glass. Dark red / pink poor with llittle or no head. Aromas of cherries, cherry bushes, acid, sour, pink champagne... EXPLOSION of flavors... This beer hits you on every possible taste buds. Flavors of obvious cherries, cask wood. Extremely well balanced, oily and creamy at the same time. Nice sweet and bitter finish....

my wife was shocked that this was beer and not some soda and juice concoction. Deep red color and intense cherry flavor. If you like fruity beer, this would be a pretty good pick.
