Golden red color for the body, with a heavy head typical of this type of beer. Vinegar and citrus fruits complete the aroma. Good tartness in the flavoring, very similar to SweetTarts candy. Clean ending, highly enjoyable.

(375ml bottle, vintage 2004, best by 9/14, 5% ABV) Large beige head with pink notes, atop a clear red body. Aroma is medium sweet, sour cherry, light barnyard, oak. Taste is moderately sweet, cherry, light tartness/sourness, faint oak. Low carbonation, slightly sticky light-medium body, quite drinkable. Needs a bit more tartness and carbonation, but it does pretty well despite these quibbles.

Dark ruby red with pinkish head that fades to a ring of bubbles. Lots of vinegar and sour cherry in aroma, very woody. Flavor is almost dominated by the woody, funky farmhouse character. Cherries come through towards the finish, slightly tart/sour, but not very puckering. Very easy drink, just not as up front as I would like.

750 ml bottle. Poured a transperent amber to red. Off white head with red tones in it. Aroma definetly had cherries in it as well as notes of wood. Mouthfeel was bubbly as expected with flavors of cheries and sour cheries. some sweetness. Nice carbonation. Finish was rounded with hints of sour.
