The body is cherry also but a bit too sweet and not tart enough for my liking. mustang3 (254), Whitby, Canada
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 23, 2005 Small bottle. My 200th rating, appropriate since it was a kriek beer that first got me into the good stuff. Pours a murky brownish red colour with very little head. The aroma and taste are pleasantly sour with strong notes of cherry. NOt overly complex but a step up from belle-vue. egajdzis (3636), Spring Mount, Pennsylvania, USA

Poured a reddish amber color with off white bubbles, no head or lacing. Funky aroma of brett, cherries leather, light vinegar; very funky, very nice. Taste was lightly tart cherry, predominantly sweet, though a light sourness was present. Smooth, with no carbonation. Thanks willblake! Garrat (1132), Suffolk, England

Pours a very deep red with a touch of black. Head is pink and fades away reasonably quickly. Strong sweet medicinal cherry aroma with a slight winey/vinegar. Flavour is superb, strong syrup of black cherries with a little malt, almond and vanilla. Dryish on the palate with just a little cherry aftertaste. WagglesMcFuggles notes a slight aftertaste of blood but I’ve finished my glass by now. Pailhead (2609), Allen Park, Michigan, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 28, 2004 Bottle: (2001) Aroma is tart cherry and light vinegar. Pours a light reddish-brown with an insignificant white head. Has a watered down sour cherry flavor. Not as much vinegar as aroma would lead you to believe. Sourness increases in the finish.
