Cloudy body, pinky-red colour with a fully dissipating fizzy, pink tinged light beige head. TCP and sharp cherries notes on the nose. The flavours are dominated by a sour cherry character that is contrasted by a refreshing sweetness. Sweet and sour acidic finish. A decent palate texture and finishes well. Overall, a well balanced beer. Swalden28 (1515), McKinney, Texas, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 25, 2009 ’07 bottle. Pours an opaque rosey-tan color, like the inside of a grapefruit with a little brown. Soft, fluffy pink head. Nose is very creamy with some malt and bran/muffin, minor balsamic notes. The sour and sweet elements are in near exact balance, and though it’s the larges part, the cherry is not dominant in the least. Flavor is rather sweet, again a near balance. Very smooth, rather woody and nutty aftertaste with some malt and crisp fruit. Palate a little watery. Not bold or revolutionary, but nicely complex, supremely integrated, and Incredibly pleasant to drink. As near to KRE as I’ve found. beerchugger (307), Colorado, USA

The aroma is sour intermingled with cherries. The beer also smells of vinegar, a bit vinuous, and some nice earthy tones in there as well. The flavor is surprisingly sweet. There is a small hint of sour fruit and vinegar in the beer. A strong burst of cherry, but not overly so. The mouthfeel is nice with the lively carbonation. This is a very enjoyable sour ale.
