Pours reddish brown color. The nose was cherry, some sweetness, and maybe a tad woody. It comes across the palate with a large burst of tart cherry, more sweetness than expected, and a little on the sour side. This almost finished like the a cherry pie. This was a damn good kriek beer. One of the better traditional lambics I’ve had usually they tend to either be too sweet or too sour. This one is the happy medium.

Pours a dark red color with a small pink head. I should have suspected this beforehand but the nose and the taste was just a little too much like cough syrup for my liking. Basically you smell and taste malt and cherry. Cherry cough syrup finish. Not anywhere near a drain pour but I won’t be buying this one again.

Dégusté avec french tickler le 27 décembre 2006. Drank in a trappist glass. Dark red / pink poor with llittle or no head. Aromas of cherries, cherry bushes, acid, sour, pink champagne... EXPLOSION of flavors... This beer hits you on every possible taste buds. Flavors of obvious cherries, cask wood. Extremely well balanced, oily and creamy at the same time. Nice sweet and bitter finish....

Bottled(375ml). -No label, just wraped in Liefmans paper. Dark amber coloured, small white head, pleasant light acidic cherry nose. Very sour cherries and some yeast taste with noticable hops presence in the finish. Very refreshing and nice kriek.

bottle, provided by MoritzF - Danke! Hazy reddish-golden colour, mid-sized and quickly disappearing white head with a rosé touch. Aroma of cherries. Flavours fo cherries dominate the flavours, not too sweet, however. The original character of the Flemish sour ale is distinctly present with some woody and picy sour notes. A delicious and wild brew.

Champagne-bottle 75 cl in nice red paper-wrapping. Carefull when opening. This bastard was a sprayer. Also when poured the pink head is growing like a foam-party in Bodrum, Turkey. The head is huge and pink with a fizzy noise to it. The body is moisty red almost pink/purple with yeats-leftovers swimming around. The nose is rather perfumish with notes of candymade cherrys for cocktails thereto a little bit of Wunderbaum and winegums. The taste is too sweet for me and I prefer my krieks to be more sour, but again i have had worse. Notes of barnfloor, overdone cherries, butter and a bit like club-soda with grenadine. The palate is watery with a little oilyness to it. The finish is flat and uninteresting leaving a faint sweetness behind.

375 ml bottle. Pours a hazy reddish brown color with a minimal white ring of bubbles. The aroma was tart cherry, some sweetness, a little funk, and woody. The flavor has a large burst of tart cherry, more sweetness than expected, and a slight amount of funk. When I drank this too quickly, there was a slight medicinal quality that I didn*t get with sips. This was a decent kriek beer.. My wife enjoyed this more than most of the beers I give her to try.

Awesome beer on draft. Pours a murky brown cloudy red body. Big cherry woodiness, lightly funked and light acidity. Goes down mouth puckering leaving a huge desire for more. I drained my glass so fast!
