The aroma has lots of raspberry with yeast and sugar. The appearance is ruby red with an average foamy head. The flavor is like the aroma and a tiny bit sour. The palate is smooth. A very decent beer.

Bottled. Beer is clear, medium/dark crimson. The head is initially large, pale rose, frothy. Diminishes, but mostly lasting. Subtle rings of lacing on the glass.
Redolent with berry kool-aid memories. Malty with a trace of toasted bread; Heavy notes of fake, sticky raspberry jam.
The flavor is heavily sweet, lightly acidic, trace bitter with a long, lightly bitter, moderate/heavily sweet finish. Packed with simple syrup.
The body is medium, the texture is syrupy and the carbonation is lively.
AlcoPop.

2005 bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, pink, mostly diminishing. Body is hazy medium to dark reddish-purple. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), with strong notes of cherry/raspberry syrup, raspberry seeds. Flavor is heavily sweet, lightly to moderately acidic. Finish is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Medium body, watery/syrupy texture, lively carbonation. Sweeter than the peche and tropicale, but a little more tart too...more intensely flavored in general, and thus more fatiguing. Syrupy texture doesn’t help. Not as beery in the nose, closer to soda pop. Hard to enjoy.

Bottled. Hazy pink coloured with a rather large fizzy head. Very sweet and sticky with notes of rasberries, grapes and sugar. A bit too fizzy.
