| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 10, 2007 This is one of my favourite liefmans beers. Although this is quite a sweet kriek unlike those at the spontanious femt it was my orignal fruit beer choice when i first got into beer. Pours a rich ruby red with a slight pinkish head. Huge wafts of cherry, straw jam, cherryade and sweet malts. The taste is dominated by lashings of black and sour red cherries with candy sweetness and a slightly tart sourness. Also there is some almond nuttiness which lifts the carbonated background. Refreshing and light perfect for any occassion. StumpMe (30), Bellingham, USA

Smells sweet like chocolate, and black cherrys. Sour/ tarty cherry taste. Medium/light body. Nice and refreshing. redlight (1496), Winter Park, Florida, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 30, 2007 Cherry juice on the nose. Pours a dark red/purple with a thin off white head that doesn’t last. Sweet cherries, sugary, slight tartness at the end, but over all very sweet. Reminds me of a cherry jolly rancher candy. An alright dessert beer. troysworktable (109), Washington, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 28, 2007 This fruit beer poured a brilliant, translucent ruby red with a thick pink head, which quickly diminished. The aroma was heavily of cherries and less so of cereal grains. The mouthfeel was good, although the carbonation was it bit too fizzy. The flavor started strongly as an almost cloying sweet cherry (maraschinos), and finished slightly tart. All in all, an interesting beer, and a good choice to complement a chocolate cake "filled with raspberry preserves and amaretto and topped with chocolate icing and toasted pine nuts." maniac (2628), Richmond, Virginia, USA

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/20 | Jan 10, 2007 Apparently the Boomgaard section from Leifmans is all about being syrupy and so sweet you can feel your teeth rotting. As much as I sometimes like a nice sweet cherry beer, I’d prefer some hint of sourness and there simply isn’t any. When I want cherry Kool- aid that’s just what I’ll drink. But I guess if I want to get a buzz from Cherry Kool- Aid I can drink this beer instead. BeerandBlues2 (3231), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA
