(375ml bottle, best by Sept.07) Pillowy pink head atop a clear dark pink-red body. Aroma is moderately sweet, strong Maraschino cherry, light cherry sourness. Taste is moderately sweet, cherry, light sourness. Light-medium body, some stickiness. Certainly comparable in sweetness to the other Boomgaards, but it works better in this instance. Still hard to think of it as something other than a soda.

375ml bottle shared thanks to weare138. Poured a medium reddish-pinkish color with a smaller sized pink tinged head. Aromas of cherry cough syrup and hard candy - those Ludens cough medicine ones. I swear I was getting some plastic as well. Tastes of the same artificial cherry medicine. Syrupy body. I didn not care for ths one at all.

Bottle... Murky ruby ale with orange highlights and a small, creamy, pink head. Excellent retention. The aroma and flavor are very reminiscent of black cherry Kool-Aid®. Fortunately, I have always liked black cherry Kool-Aid®. Medium-bodied with a milky mouthfeel and modest carbonation. Sweet, fruity and then moderately tangy finish. Probably underrated due to it not being a traditional Belgian lambic. Tasty, but definitely Americanized. Overpriced as well.

375ml bottle: Pours a transparent bright ruby red with a thin, spotty-lacing off-white head. Aroma has some medicinal cherry fruitiness and candy sweetness. Body starts slightly effervescent with lots of cherry sweetness and a decent tart balance before a sugary syrupy finish. Fairly drinkable, but could use some more complexity and body.

Nice pour from the bottle into a Liefman tulip, a deep ruby body with a tall pink head. The aroma is a blend of Maraschino and dark red cherries. The firm carbonation keeps the sweetness in check, the flavor being fresh cherries with a light, delayed tartness. I like cherries, so this ale appealed to me.

Bottle: Red pour, pink head and lacing. Nose is very bright with sugar and cherry essence, a light lotiony character that reminds you of cherry pie, a bit thin in the finish. Best of the bunch I think.

Bottle. Poured hazy reddish with a large froty reddish head that mostly lasted and produced good lacing. Heavy sweet cherry aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture. Heavy sweet cherry flavor with a medium tart fruit finish of moderate duration. Refreshing beer.
