Aug 7, 2004 Brownish red color, bigger tan head. Nice raspberry aroma. Flavor is sweeter than expected with only slight tartness coming through. Pleasant and refreshing and very easy to drink. Very nice.

Jul 27, 2004 375 ml bottle, cork date 2.004, best before 12/2014. Dark and murky burgundy colour with a frothy lasting tan coloured head. Strong natural tart raspberry aroma with underlying barnyardy and yeasty notes. Fresh raspberry dominates, accompanied by lightly sour and woody flavours. Smooth, creamy, and refreshing motuhfeel. Good, but straightforward.

Jul 26, 2004 (on bottle) Thisbrew is said to only have clean juices of rasberries in it. How come there´s no acid in it at all then? Where´s does it go? Well, it does have alot of the sent, but the freshness is nonpresent. The lack of acid makes this ale a very beautifull mahogony-colored, flat ´n´sweet brew.

Jul 15, 2004 1/2 teaspoon sediment still left in the bottle. Dull browned ruby with a cloudy appearance. Sudsy short tan head. Aroma is very sweet raspberry, yeasty with some caramel or brown sugar notes. Piles of juicey raspberry in the palate. Musty yeast. Could stand to be more tart. Buttery fat and meaty. Mildly metallic. Somewhat cloying and chalky early on butty mouthfeel grows creamy and woody as it warms. Nice stuff.

Jul 13, 2004 Reddish leather brown body that’s definitely a bit cloudy. Very rasberry aroma. Tart and sweet but so bubbly and balanced that it’s easy to drink. The raspberry in both the flavor and the aroma is so fresh that you can taste the seeds. You almost expect to feel the seeds between your molars.

Jul 12, 2004 Cloudy copper. Real fresh raspberry aroma - not cloying or "fake" smelling. Same with the flavor. Somehow both light and rich, it avoids the syrupy sweet pitfalls of many fruit beers. Very Nice.

Jul 12, 2004 This was a purple beer. My first one of those. Well this one was quite interesting. Raspberries dominate everything about this beer. The flavor was sweet but mostly tart. Some muskiness was detected. I was impressed even though Im not usually a big fan of raspberries. The mouthfeel was quite carbonated and sweet. Good one Wunderbier.
