Bottle. Very sweet smell of frambozen and sugar. Average sized creamy off-white head, normal long lasting, very dark red body. Moderate sweet and light acidic, medium duration. Medium body, creamy texture, lively carbonation, medium astringent finish. Nice summer beer.

Bottle - 2005 vintage from cork. Pours a deep brown with normal highlights around the edges and a fizzy head that dies down quickly. Aromas are funky tartness at first and then blossom into a raspberry presence. Flavor is wonderful, but I would like the sourness to be a little more pronounced as it gets overwhelmed by a sweet raspberry finish. Things start off well... initial flavors are kind of a sour raspberry (almost cranberry) initially, and this gives way to a bit of a tart funkiness and then finishes with sweet (borderline syrupy) raspberry. Nice on a hot summer day.

Dark amber pour with a thin off white head. Fresh crisp raspberry nose. Tart yet sweet raspberry in the taste.

Drink by date 6/2017, born 6/2007? Tasting 5/08. Ruddy brown color. No head some lacing. Aroma..fruit, fruit, fruit, sourness, musty. Strong raspberry/cranberry. Dry finish. Full bodied taste. Quite sweet at first, hops cleans it up nicely. Might be smoother with age. Good overall.

I get confused when the berries in the picture looks more like strawberries than rasberries, but this is the right beer. Dark red, almost purple, and therefore looked goo in the wineglass it was served with. Aroma of natrual acidic rasberries. Flavor is sour in the acidic/tart way, which i really enjoy, and i therefore find it extremly refreshing.

pours a weird and wild very dark caramel color with a one finger bubbly tan head. aroma is some nice dark sweet raspberries with seeds. has a medium body with good lacing and carbonation. flavor is the same as aroma with a little tartness to it. the seed taste is a touch annoying at the end but all in all pretty good. i think i like the kriekbier better though. as it warms the aroma does get better. flavor is good from beging to middle but dies off after that and the seedy taste kicks in.

Brown hazy, small beige head. Aroma of framboise, but not strong. Taste a bit of sweetener, not too strong though. Average framboize, but not fantastic.
