Aged bottle with no reference of Duvel Moortgat takeover. A 25cl 3.5 abv beer poured into a goblet glass. Head is non existent. Gorgeous dark red appearence; really sublime. Aroma is virtually absent. Cherries obviously prominent on the nose and also vanilla. An exceptionally easy to drink beer. If you want something easy and mass appealing then look here. It is nice that it is drinkable aged. I suspect if Duvel promote this more then it could do well. I think it is extremely appealing to a wider audience. Please combine with chocolate gateaux or dark chocolates and sponge cake. Enjoy.

Bottle: Pours bloody red with a pink head. Lots of sweet cherry in both nose & taste. Sugary, syrupy & somehow one dimensional but still quite drinkable! OK

25 cl bottle w/ FatPhil. Dark-red, almost bloody body with a pale pink head. A bit vanilla, sweet cherry on the nose. Taste ok, cherry, very foamy texture but with an unfortunate finish of Acesulphane K which destroys the otherwise fine beer.

25 cL bottle. Pours clear and deep golden imperial red to towards purple, lacing pink head. Dense cherry and mild almond aroma. Flavour is sweet, light citric and solid cherry fruity with both a little bite and mild almond note. Acidic to citric cherry lingering flavour into the finish. I honestly like this one, may be artificial but in a good way.

(Rating #1753)

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is clear ruby. Aroma and taste are rich with cherry. A bit artificial, but still very good and refreshing.

250ml bottle (BelgianShop)
Deep red, healthy tight pink head. Rich dark cherry aroma, slightly sweet but not excessively so. However, in the mouth it’s a bit sweeter, but also quite thick, so not like a fizzy soda. Sourness cuts through the sweetness a bit too, but can’t dominate given the strong black cherry throughout the whole taste. Could do with less sugar - at 3.5% it’s placed as a thirst quencher, yet the sugars will dry you up and leave you thirsty.
Rerate: parcatically identical.

Bottle. Dark red brown with a small head. Aromas are dark cherries with decent sourness. Like cherrydrop sweets. Flavours are sweet and sour cherry with addictive sourness. Sweet and syrupy towards the finish with resinous tartness. Simple but tasty.
