Bottled. Beer is clear medium scarlet with a large, pink, frothy, mostly diminishing but lasting, frothy head. Stubby tendrils of lacing.
Tart cherry with bready malts invokes cherry pie. Malty with light notes of toasted bread; Light herbal hop; Light yeasty basement; Moderate/heavy note of sour cherry syrup.
The flavor is heavily sweet, lightly acidic with a longish, moderately acidic, moderately sweet finish.
The body is light, the texture is syrupy and the carbonation is lively.
Tottering toward cherry soda.

Bottled at Rustico, thanks to Pamela for sharing Pours a gorgeous hazy ruby color. Head is big, pinkish with good retention and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is fruity with cherries and more cherries. Bubble gum, cherry soda and cherry marmalade too ;) A fantasy drink? Flavor is ultra-sweet, artificially flavored in my book. Notes of cherry soda, fruit caramels and a hint of sourness. I would say this is cloying. It’s even sweeter than Chapeau Kriek. Light bodied, fizzy and sharp carbonation. Finish is sweet/tart and rather long. Syrupy texture. Aftertaste of a fruit candy. A girls beer if it’s a beer...

Bottle, 3.5%. Sweet marcipan aroma. Nice, dark, deep red colour. OK dark pink head. Quite sweet flavour, but it could be worse. Cherry, softdrink-like flavour. Has a little sourness to balance.

This is the favorite of my dochter. Dark red colour with small pink head. Watery body with a bubblegum-like taste. Remends me of cherry syrup. (Bottle 25cl) To sweet for me.
