Yellow colored, slightly hazy appearance. Medium sized white head. Strong apple-saft aroma, nothing else comes up. Strongly sweet and apply flavor, aftertaste has also strong apple with mild sourness.

yellow and fizzy. Aroma is just about all apple, as well as the taste. Finish is sweet apple. Very small amount of malt character in this beer, although it does not taste like cider.

At Festival Bières et Saveurs Sept. 2005. Pale yellow beer with a thin white head. Sweet apple purée aroma. Cloyingly sweet apple juice with no beer character. Why, Liefmans, why?

Apple juice nose, yellow-gold color, foamy head. Tastes like sour apple candy. Sugary sweet. A really bad mix. The worst of the Fruitesse beers from Liefmans, which isn’t saying much: they’re all bad.

Number three of the ugly four - that was the moment when our friends started to believe that Belgians can’t brew good beer (well this is what most of the non beer geeky Germany think anyway) - Terrible apple-pee nose mixture - apple shampoo taste - a true nightmare!
