Black cherries, with chocolate. Body seems dead, but lovely ruby coleration. Extremely sweet, no carbination. Almost like 100% fruit juice with cough syrup thrown in and a melted caramel chew.

Bottled (room temperature)
Deep cherry red, not much head. Strong sweet spicey (cinnamon, clove) aroma - like in Glühwein. Sweet, sugary cherry flavor. A bit sour finish like in a lambic kriek. Short sweet-sour aftertaste.

Burgundy color, no head. Very juicy and vineous aroma, strong cherry comes up too, reminds me of mulled wine. Overly sweet and syrupy flavor with cherry tones. Medium body. Sour and mildly bitter bite in tongue.

(Bottled, slightly warmed up) Dark red, clear color with almost no head. Sweetish glögg-spicy cherry aroma with warmed-up alcohol vapors flowing into nose. Sweetish cherry flavor with wood notes and lots of spice. Sticky-sweet finish. Medium-bodied palate with fizzy lemonade carbonation. A quite nice and warming drink (at least when warm ;), but wine-based glögg is soo much cheaper, and more full-bodied...

[Hot] An unclear red-brown beer with a nice dark red-brown head. The aroma is of overripe cherries combined with a little wood, cloves, and alcohol - reminds me of glögg. The flavor is sweet with a few sour hints - especially in the end, where it draws a little mouthwater. But the flavor also contains strong notes of overripe cherries, wood, cloves, apples, and alcohol. The end is dry but smooth. Really a nice beer. Thanks to Alex (fiulijn) for trading me this one.

An inviting cherry/copper body but no head of any kind. Nose of tart cherries and spices. Nicely carbonated for the style, medium bodied, treacley. The flavor was spiced cherries. Tart.

I drank it hot. Nice red color, no head. Great aroma of cherries and spices. Excellent flavor of cherries and spices. Light to medium body, very syrupy, warm and conforting.
