[Hot] An unclear red-brown beer with a nice dark red-brown head. The aroma is of overripe cherries combined with a little wood, cloves, and alcohol - reminds me of glögg. The flavor is sweet with a few sour hints - especially in the end, where it draws a little mouthwater. But the flavor also contains strong notes of overripe cherries, wood, cloves, apples, and alcohol. The end is dry but smooth. Really a nice beer. Thanks to Alex (fiulijn) for trading me this one.

(Bottle 25 cl) Putting a glass of beer in the microwave is something I’ve never done before - please don’t tell anyone... But a cold day in January was the right time to try this thing I’d kept in stock for a couple of years. Heated to 70 degrees C, this is a very unusul experience. Hazy brown with a pronounced red tint. Almost no head. Very tart with a lot of natural cherry flavour - no artificial touches here. Very appealing in small quantities. And very reminiscent of German Glühwein or Danish "Glögg". 270198

75 cL bottle. Pours clear reddish with a fully diminished white head. Cherry fruity and slight spiced aroma. Cherry sweet flavour, slight acidic. Finish is sweet and persisting cherry fruity.

Warm: sweetness steps far back in favour of spice and herbal note. Becomes very pleasant. Has a slight barnyard note and some mildness to it warm. Quite enjoyable.

Bottled. Muddy cherry red. Aroma of cloves and cinnamon with plenty of cherries. Sweet and intensely fruity, served cold it reveals juicy fresh citricity, while warm the focus shifts to the spices and the alcohol. This is a really good beer, but surprisingly it falls slighty short in a comparison with the more intense copy Quelque Chose.

Bottle, warmed. Cherry red colour, creamy mediumsized reddish white head. Almond and cherry in aroma. Cherry and "glüwein/glögg/glögi"-sh flavour. Quite sweet, but very nice when warm. A string of alcohol also exists.
