The aroma is sour, dark fruits, with some malty bitterness. The taste is complex. It’s a little sour and some sweet. A little chocolate with cherries. There are no cherries in it. It’s full of flavour. A very good Flemish Brown. azlondon (667), Fribourg, Switzerland

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 14, 2008 Beautiful ruby brown with a disappearing off-white head. Aroma is fruity, with raspberry and cherry notes, and filled with good caramel and bready malt. Just a little dusty funk.
Flavour is sweet and malty with fruit, tartness and some funk.

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Jun 8, 2008 Not to my special liking as i am not into this style. But being fair it is a well crafted brew very complex. I have heard this is the bases for many of the Belgium beers that fruit is added to. Just not a fan of those but can appreciate.
