aw how disappointing. Liefmans took the concept of the green bottle and actually was able to give it some life. A good beer could come from a green bottle after all! But then, the addendum to that is -- as long as it’s supposed to be sour. This corked Ale is acrid and quite watery. Retaining some of the leifmans charm, but losing the rest of it’s character along the way. Zesty orange rinds with a touch of must... not a good must or a must have.

Bottle
Light leathery and corked aroma. Amber, fluffy tanned lacing head. Peach, light wooden, a hint citric acidity. Fairly lightbodied and watery. Pretty much a non-event.

Bottled. Amber coloured. Acidic notes in the aroma. Light fruity flavour with some sweetness and some acidity. Light to medium bodied.

Bottle shared with HogTownHarry, GregClow & tupalev. Pours a hazy bubbly amber with a massive white rocky head. Aroma of malt, sugar, yeast and a little sourness. Flavour of sweet malt and fruit with a touch of that aforementioned sourness. A simple and pleasant beer that goes down easy -- good but not great.

Bottle shared with blankboy, HogTownHarry & tupalev - courtesy blankboy. Hazy orange colour with a large rocky head. Aroma is an interesting mixture of sweet and tart notes, with some dustiness. Flavour is citric & fruity - nice, but fairly simple.

Bottle (500ml). Shared with blankboy, GregClow and Hogtown Harry - courtesy of blankboy. Strong banana and sweet honey in pleasant aroma. Dark yellow, huge white head. Light active mouthfeel. Taste is surprisingly sharply bitter. Not as much flavour though as everything else suggests. Light malt fluffy taste. Short finish. Not bad.

Bottle (500ml). Shared with blankboy, GregClow and tupalev - courtesy of blankboy. Poured hazy orange with a huge foamy head, nice lacing. Aroma of sweet then sour cherry, wheat, some vegetal sourness on warming. Tasted of vegetal cherry, somewhat sweet, very simple. Palate is creamy but thin - quite unmemorable.

Draught at Delirium Café, Gothenburg, Sweden. Hazy amber. Short and small white head. Rather weak aroma with yeasty notes. Sweet and vinous flavour. A bit citric with notes of vegetables.
