The aroma is fruity and mildly dry. The flavour is lightly fermented, fruity and mildly sour. Overall a nice beer which is fruity, lightly dry and fermented. Brix (378), Denmark

Some cloves and yeast in there, I think. I’m not impressed! Liefmans Kriekbier is amongst my favourite beers, but this is just a let-down! mgermani (865), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Aug 16, 2007 Pours a slightly hazy brownish-amber with a loose-bubbled huge head. Sweet, fruity pungent head - very nice! The taste is less impressive - while the malting is nice and fruity and the hops are present and well-balanced, there is a metallic tinge to it that requires a lot of forgiveness. It doesn’t help matters that it’s over-carbonated and very difficult to pour due to the enormous head. When the head is co-operating, it’s quite creamy, but otherwise a thin finish which warms slightly, with notes of grapefruit from the hops. As I finish this beer I realize how pleasant it was, but it sure took a lot of acclimatizing. If it were fresh, I would imagine this beer would be quite nice. BeerBiker (1392), Kathmandu, Nepal

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 2, 2007 Bottle. Creamy off-white excellent fully lasting head. Orange colour. Light malty moderate hoppy aroma. Alittle sour. Heavy bitter flavor and average finish. Oily palate but a little too fizzy. Miksu (2241), Jyväskylä, Finland

Very worty flavor with toffee and some fruitness. Unbalanced and unpleasantly worty. BitchesBrew (710), Berkeley, California, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jul 4, 2007 [bottle] Hazy amber color. Aroma is slightly sour, yeasty, with some odd aromas as well (wheat?). I have to say, the flavors are a little odd: sour, malty?, dry. Finishes with a slightly unpleasant vegetal note. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 11, 2007 Updated: Jun 12, 2007Bottle. [# 200 Belgium] Huge fizzy white head that mostly lasted. Cloudy amber color with a heavy sparkling look inside the glass. Spar lacing. First impression was a very week and mild attempt to make a Lambic. I picked up a hint of vinegar and some citrus, light yeast and somewhat dusty notes, with underlying fruit. Light bodied with a fizzy carbonation. Light acidic flavor with hint of sweetness. Light dry and somewhat acidic finish. Very strange experience.
