I enjoyed this brew. I found as it warmed up, it exploded with character. There are many sides to this beer.

nice presentation, but for me middle of the raod beer, no expression at all, easy going, nice sipping, but not keeps your palate busy

Very nice head when pourred into glass, almost creamy, did not disapear and left line in the glass; to me this is a very impressive start. Very refreshing taste with a fruity aftertaste (Leifman knows how to add fruity taste to their beer). I'm not sure this a pale ale per say but it is still a good beer.

(Bottle, BB 08/2008) Pours a cloudy burnt orange with a tall off-white head and nice lacing. Aroma of mustiness, horse blanket, citrus, leather, florals, and herbs. Flavor of caramel, brett/fruit sourness, light herbs, and Orval yeast. This one caught me by surprise and was somewhat like a lighter version of Orval.

[Sampled with Uffe and Rik.] A wild-, maybe, -fermented beer with lots of notes of bacillus, acidity, grapes, lemon and dryness. Deluxe!

Bottled. Extremely voluminous head, abundant and of optimal persistence. Dark orange color, much intense and impenetrable one with decided and fine fizz. Optimal aspect. Aged scent with notes of wine cellar, mildew, barley, fermented malt. Much rich taste for a belgian ale; fresch cinnamon aromas, yeast, stum and orange peel. Indeed amazing.

It’s an orange beer with a really nice, white head. The aroma is like new, fresh hay and light, sweet summer fruits. The flavour is sweetish, very harmonic and nicely balanced with notes of fruits like sweet orange and melon, and it has a slightly citrussy note too. I fell in love with this one - simply nice....
