Draught@Kulminator. Murky ruby brown colour. Aroma is superbly sour cherries with some hints of nuts. Flavour is dry cherries, nuts and some wooden hints. A very sour and dry thing, but still really refreshing. One of the most mouthdrying beers I have ever had. Marvellous thing!

Draught at Kulminator. Sourish aroma, has a bit of winegum cherry. Seemingly clear deep red colour. Semi-stable, disappearing pink/grey head. Quite sour flavour with some cherry to it. Finishes with a clean citric/lemony cherry aftertaste.

A Mes rate: Draught from the Kulminator.
Totally amazing. Not too far from the regular Liefmans in the nose but its just superbly clean. Ok thats selling it a little short. Clearly one of the best smelling beers ever. Cherry, malt, brown sugar and huge notes of candy floss but Just so natural. Thick blood red colour with a thin head and slight lace. All gently sweet cherry in the mouth then as soon as you swallow you get such an intense hit of incredible tart and sour puckery lambicness. It really is like a high end lambic kriek. Definite hints of Schaerbeek cherries. Feels utterly sublime in the mouth. So perfectly drinkable and with each swallow it clears the palate ready for more. Nothing short of an excellent start to the holiday.

Although I have had this out of the bottle I will rate the amazing version that I had on tap at Waagstuk in Antwerp and thanks Filip and Charlie for the beers. Salty, sweet sour and pack full of cherries.....amazing. Page 283 of Michael Jackson’s Great Beer Guide and only 336 out of 500 Classic Brews to go.

Tap@Kulminator, Antwerp. Wow, this was great. Quite sour and tart and very unlike the sweetened Liefmans products. This shows some nice sour cherry, and bretty sourness. Some wild farmyard characters, with notes of hay, grass, wood and citrus. very refreshing mouthfeel, slightly puckery aswell.
